We've added a new line of Jobsite & Yard Supplies to the HIWASTE MFG lineup: HDPE ground protection mats and connectors, UHMWPE outrigger pads, commercial roll-up doors, and collapsible wire baskets. Here's a quick rundown of each.
Ground Protection Mats
Our 4' x 8' ground protection mats are 1/2" thick virgin HDPE with a traction pattern on both sides. Use them for temporary roads, staging, parking, skid steer access, lawn protection, event flooring and heavy equipment access. Recommended maximum gross weight is 11-22 tons on soft ground, 22-28 tons on turf or sandy soil, and 44-55 tons on firm, flat ground. These figures are based on evenly distributed loads, and actual capacity depends on ground conditions, weight distribution, vehicle configuration and proper installation.
Mat Connectors
Link mats into one continuous surface with nut & bolt or slip connectors. Two-way connectors join two mats, and four-way connectors join mats where four corners meet.
Outrigger Pads
Our 2" thick UHMWPE outrigger pads give cranes, boom trucks, lifts and other equipment a stable support surface, and they're also used under shipping containers and dumpsters. The 24" x 24" pad has a maximum vertical load of 33 tons and is recommended for 23-25-ton cranes and medium-sized concrete pump trucks. The 30" x 30" pad has a maximum vertical load of 50 tons and is recommended for 50-70-ton cranes and medium-sized concrete pump trucks. For maximum vertical load, use firm, flat ground with the outrigger centered on the pad, and always confirm the required pad area using the equipment's maximum outrigger reaction and the ground-bearing capacity.
Commercial Roll-Up Doors
Our commercial sheet roll-up doors come in four sizes, 7' or 8' high and 6'8" or 7'4" wide, each with a one-year warranty. Installation isn't included, but we do offer installation services, so contact us for a quote.
Collapsible Wire Baskets
Our collapsible wire baskets are rated for 4,000 lbs, stack up to 4 high, and hold about 36 cubic feet each. An 18" half drop-down gate makes loading and unloading easy.

Everything is available for pickup at our yard in Kaka'ako, Honolulu, with delivery anywhere on Oahu and shipping to Maui, the Big Island, Kauai, Molokai, Lanai, Guam and American Samoa. You can buy online or send us a message for a delivery or shipping quote.
